Welcome to another edition of our newsletter. 17 is proving to be quite the lucky number for American Chez Reavie after claiming the Travelers Championship with a total score 17-under-par. A charging Keegan Bradley had Reavie’s lead down to just one with three to play. 17 struck again as the par 4 seventeenth played a key role as Bradley made a double bogey and Reavie sunk a birdie to stretch his lead back to four where it stayed. The win was Reavie’s first Tour victory since the 2008 Canadian Open, a tournament he won with a total score of 17-under par – spooky. It wasn’t just on the PGA Tour where the numbers made for interesting reading, Hannah Green’s victory at the Woman’s PGA Championship made it eleven different winners in the last eleven Major championships in which the last four have been won by players aged 23 or under.
